alrite... so the big nite is over... and i've finally found some time to talk abt it... :) btw, the photo link's on the left... yup.

thurs - hectic day in sch, w rehearsals after sch, had dinner at 10.30pm... nothing much happened... except tt i played tennis w ian, aud and ks... haha, it was quite fun, esp to see them get better... wish i could still be improving... :/ haha. then ian had his nose turn so red! it was darn hilarious... :x and then he refused to turn up for vcf cuz he had a red nose... double :x :x and another booboo... what does wei3 qu1 mean? hmmm... ponders hard. ian thinks it means inconvience... nono, noble. lol...!! ok, shall zip it, lest i get pinched again. :P

fri - rehearsals again. so damned tiring. was at PS for dessert after rehearsals... someone held my hand, and i got spotted immediately. wow... i couldn't believe how i could've been spotted immediately. it was like... walk walk walk, then suddenly, these 2 guys gave me a look. then i'm like... strange, what's this abt. next thing i know... i got a msg asking me who was holding my hand. ha... and i didn't even know who those 2 pple were... oh wells. and ok, i held tt person's hand cuz her leg was injured...

anw, saw the cadavers for the first time!! :D haha... boy are they... stinky. nothing like the pork sausages or pork tt everyone tells me its like. its more like this overwhelming aftertaste u get if u try to eat too many meatballs! :/ its absolutely gross... hated it. ack. my prof got overenthusiastic tugging at the tendons of the muscles and this bit of flesh flew at cheryl. poor girl.. :/ and seriously, its just strange tt u deskin the whole body... and leave the nipple and belly button there. it just looks gross! and the cadaver's nose was squashed flatish... haha. ok, i should stop. oh but, i've got to say this... someone turned a cadaver over, and shit fell out. i'm really speechless abt this. all i can do is.. laugh... lol! i dun want to be a cadaver when i die! so anyone, someone... pls claim my body if i die k? i'll be eternally grateful... really!

sat... crazy day! :/ must thank someone for the flowers and balloons... so sweet... was really touched... thanks so much... :)

there were problems w the day though. the event was supposed to be an outdoor thing... and we had already rehearsed upteen times on the huge stage outdoors on the day b4 and the day itself... but suddenlly, when we had returned from our hair and makeup... the stage was gone. to our horror, this tiny stage indoors had replaced it. haha. wow.

anw, these are the girls w the curlers in their hair, looking all taitai-ish... or auntish if u will... ;) and they had their lunch, and shopped at parkway, and isetan w those things in their hair. lol... :/ and yes, pple were most certainly staring... really hard.

while the girls took hours upon hours for their makeup, we just lounged in our changing room... beautiful isn't it? ;) haha. and then, there was this soft couch was just divine. the 6 of us just slept there... haha.

wth! derek put his stinky feet where i slept... i just realised after seeing this photo... grr... ;) after some really last min rehearsals - note - u guys were kept in the reception area for soo long simply because we were doing some really really last min hairstyling and then rehearsals... it was so rushed. but i think it went quite well, such tt u can't tell it was *tt* last min... ;)

then we hit the stage. i didn't realise tt i was really tt pissed off looking when i was on stage. every single photo i looked annoyed and upset. it was just shocking... :x i really couldn't believe it. guanyinma told me, "smile la, u look like shit" i thot he was joking... looks like it was true afterall... i was really looking like shit... :x below is an example... :/

but in the end, i really did have so much fun... the whole thing was a brand new experience in itself... :) never in my life who i've thought i'd be going on stage and do this b4. and i think i did it rather well... i was nervous sounding on stage or anything... a lil stiff, but on the whole, acceptable... ;) so even though, i didn't walk away with any accolades, i'm glad to have done this still. and from all the comments my friends made, and even my fellow contestants, i know tt i could've got something... so, i guess tt's great consolation... ;) and thanks u guys... all of u, u've been wonderful... i'm glad to have got to know all of u... hope we can somehow, stay in touch. :)

and of course, i've really gotta thank my supporters... they're really so sweet... they got so many pple to sms vote for me...! haha... i'm really touched... thank u. and in fact, thank u just for coming down... i know it was disappointing, but just having u guys come down... i'm already so grateful... and of course... the amusing stories abt auntie shishi sweeting off all the goodie bags and whatever stuff on the table, then stuffing it into kat's bag... tt was just hilarious! really lor... shishi should just be the da ma! ;) and then, there's red light and the guanyinma! spooky...

after the nite had ended... we went for a 2-6 ktv session. hmmm... it really helped to lift my spirits man... :) haha. kat's ode to the family totally outdid everyone... and we were just laughing so hard, we were tearing. oh man... i should've taped it down. and i've footage of ra in... being beyonce! - crazy in love. complete with the boob and ass pumping... forwards, backwards, forwards, backwards! lol... great blackmail material. *evil grin*

tt nite, i slept an hour... and had to rush to the airport on sunday morning. arghhh, i'm feeling rather uninspired. so i'm writing crap. shall continue another day.

hmmm, today is wed, and i'm back tired and slpy... :/ been suffering from insomnia... lol! and apparently, i'm not the only one... lol! identities of sleepy persons have been protected by my pixelating of the face!... ;) haha...

anw, something really funny happened during problem based learning... but i just can't put it here, for fear tt somehow, tt person i'm abt to laugh at reads it... darn, i'm dying... lol! but ytd, it was incredibly annoying... :/ i lugged 3 rackets to sch, plus a heavy txtbk. the plan was to play tennis after sch, then study 4 a while b4 rehearsals at e end of the day. turns out it rained, and then rehearsals were cancelled. and i was left there feeling so dumb... lol! and aud asked me to play tennis today, and due to ytd experience, i was really apprehensive. so i checked the weather forecast (like i did the day b4), and it said the same thing - rain. on a monday, i was paranoid, and brought my rackets to sch. on a tues, after tt terrible experience, i thought, hey, let's be smart and not bring the racket cuz it'd rain anw...

so i woke up. the sky looked fair - nvm, it'd rain later... 9am, it got even hotter. 1pm, many pple went to play tennis and i was praying for rain. garrr... these lousy weather pple. how in e world do they stay employed?!!!

anw, back to tues... my mum picked me up from sch, and we were supposed to pick my sis up after tt. she got lost in a really short stretch of road so many times! lol... i told her to turn, and she'd go straight and be like really stunned and go 'huh'. so 3 u-turns later, and many wrong turns later... we finally reached and i had laughed so much. i've a theory - my bad sense of direction is genetic, it comes from my mum. :/

anw, nick crashed lectures today... and he really seemed so much more interested in the stuff they teach then me.. i feel so guilty! all i can remember for the day is how my lab partner keeps imitating the horrid pronunciation of the china papa prof... i can't put it down in words here. but its really amusing, and certainly confusing.

oh, n i went to watch bewitched w ian n nick today... it was quite funny for the first half, but then, its like they changed directors changed midway and it became, somewhat boring... a pity. it could've been such a nice show... ah wells...

argghh... kinda annoyed rite now... my internet connection is still being terribly screwy. damn it... i can't even join a bnet game without it crashing... haiz. pissed. msn's being a bitch too... sucks... better get it fixed soon... grr!

anw... on my weekend... it has been great... :) had ad filming for our sponsor for union ball in the arly afternoon... so dumb - dressed up as a stupid looking shit... lol! they were trying really hard to make me look bad - drapping so much bags on me, till i looked like i was going trekking instead of looking bad. so they resorted to making me wear those huge soft toy dice u hang on the mirrors of yr cars on my ears, then pink slippers and an umbrella... :/ yucks!! then after tt i walked like a fool past the car where g2 (geraldine) stood by the car... then she would look at me and gleam eviling to the camera -evil laughter-, shove me into the car - where i look v stunned - like arghhh! haha... then in i flail ard in the car and put my palm on the window, ala titanic... lol! then after a while, i emerge, so wonderful looking and all, and geraldine jumps out and grabs me happily! *smiles and grins* - end of lame ad... haha... so cheezy rite.. i'm ashamed... :x

anw, after tt, met up w ian and poo(ja) at holland v b4 we headed down to east coast... :) slight drizzle at hv, and mich came to pick us up... she was being pissy n insisting tt she'd drop us off at hv if its raining at east coast too.. so they we had to call weili to check it out... thankfully, the rain ad just stopped... :) else, we wouldn't have been able to have the great time we did at the beach... :) we cycled for quite 2h, not v long... but yeah, it was fun... then we went bowling b4 calling it a nite... haha

the next day, it was tennis in the morning, but it was rainy weather once again... :/ played horrendous tennis... it was completely disasterous... :x i'm to embarrassed to elaborate further on what happened... but haiz. lunch w kat, kuan, ra, al, col and shi... sadly, ra would be gone in a month.. oh wells, we should just enjoy ourselves... :) after tt, i met up w nick and walked round to buy stuffs... spent so much! :/ bought a nice PEOPLE yearbook.. its full of nice looking pple! i love it! haha... ;) so superficial...

and today, i'm just feeling dumb cuz i had tutorial and i'm kinda e only one who can't really ans questions tt the prof possesses... damn... everyone is seriously works so hard... i feel so strangled and lost... i dun like this. bah.

tuesday - more boring lectures... :/ but ponned lecture to watch 7 swords at PS... haha... had lunch at billy bombers... now tt cost a bomb! haha... luckily got some vouchers... so actually, it wasn't tt much considering how much i had... bought ying n yang... wah... it was like this huge bun, with an even larger beef patty, then a juicy and succulent chicken thigh, and a nicely done sunny side up egg, in which the yolk was still nice and juicy... ;)

hmmm... seven swords... the movie is seriously abt the fighting scenes and the choreography... not the plot... its quite nice i felt... though, certainly not PG... esp w the barbaric and brutal methods they kill... lol! haha... a good piece of cinematography... though not necessary entertaining... as i was watching the movie... i had this scene which i really liked... unfortunately, given my pathetic memory, i can't quite remember it rite now. argghh... i hate my mind! :(

and on wed... it was first aid lessons... played tennis in the morning and almost got killed by the heat and lack of slp... :/ and i really didn't pay attention during lectures... so freaking boring man! :/ sucks... i didn't try anything... which had undesirable consequences the following day... :/ after first aid, went w weili to driving center... he had his first practical lesson, and i had to register for my basic theory... can't wait to start driving man... i pray i still remember how to drive when i start lessons... lol! had such an awful experience after i left... got lost... sighs. just kept walking for 45 mins and ended up at payalebar... sadly i had no money, so couldn't cab even though i was lost - what i always do when i'm lost... resolution - i must stop being broke. :(

thursday morn was fun... badminton! haha... hadn't played for damn long... gave me a good workout, and a butt ache tt still exists... lol! ian broke his strings... which he happily sent for restringing today and is quite excited abt it! lol... when u've to restring yr rackets (like my tennis ones), u wun be excited, u'd be grumbling... lol! then, came the cpr test... oh, the guy knew in an instant i was a n00b... :/ i couldn't do cpr to save mine, or even the manakind's life... :/ lol... he asked me repeatedly, did u come for lessons? i was like, yes... and he concluded i was damn nervous... haha... i smiled wrily... better tt than making me redo the whole thing... haha :)

fri - last day of sch... :) was so glad the bore and chore of sitting thru lectures was coming to an end... i really wanted to attend pract... to see the cadaver... but i didn't. its like - i'm e guy whom the professor doesn't even know exists. haha.. well, had stupid clothes fitting... :( it was at perfect in black. the girls had lotsa gorgeous gowns to try on... i must say there looked rather pretty... :) then the guys had to do their own too... it was a sad case. i had so much trouble having to look for a pair of pants tt fit... and there it was... sitting on my friend's waist. arghh... no choice, had to get another pair tt dun fit me as well... oh wells... :p but it was fun i admit... trying on so many clothes and just dumping them there... i felt i didn't get the write clothes in the end, but i wanted to go back to sch, so i just made do w whatever i chose and left... hope i dun look bad in those clothes though... :/ haha... i was made to feel a lil in adequate though when i was trying on an outfit and i was told i had not even boobs (chest) to make it look good... arghh, but i really liked tt suit... it was so nice... haiz... sad... my frame is just too tiny... :/

well, its been a nice week of short days... hope tt i'd have more weeks like tt.. :

if all my days in school could be like this - slack... i'd be so happy... :) the day ended after a short 4hours of lectures, of which i slept thru 2, and tried to copy down notes for the other 2, in vain i might add. looks like i really gotta learn to listen more and pay attention! arrghh... and attend lectures earlier so i dun get pushed all the way to the stuffy back of the lecture theatre that is a total knock out formula for me during boring lectures... :/

but after lecture, i went down to PS to meet nick n sx, together w weili... haha, met nick ytd liao, but what's e harm of meeting him again when we've not met up in ages cuz he went ROC for 3 weeks? ;) had lunch at this place called... piazza or sth... can't remember! the food was ex and not all tt good in my opinion... definitely not somewhere i'd readily go back to... haha. but it had nice decor... haha.. ;)

went to look for a super belated bday present for zp after tt.. well, actually, weili went to look 4 shoes first, and i joined in... :x haiz, spent more money... well, i was pissed my shoes got stolen, so i had to get another pair... :( i hope i dun spend myself broke in the future... i seriously am doubting my ability to control my spending on anything - food, cabs, books, cds... anything. arghhh... sighs. but, i think they looked quite nice... but the thing is tt they're really comfortable! :) haha... and then we went to the house of condoms to get the present... i've not been in there b4, so it was kinda interesting to step in there... lol! they've a whole array of interesting things there... lol! think i shouldn't be writing them here... so go visit e shop yrself if u wanna! ha...

been watching sex n e city after i got home... its really so funny! haha... nice way to unwind after a tiring day... wish all my days could be this way... :) oh, and the weather and the sea looks good now... what would've been perfect if i could have someone to just walk over with and have a nice lil evening stroll by the beach... i must get a house next to the sea next time... i'm too used to having a seaview... ;)

PS: so pissed i didn't watch e fireworks display last nite! everyone said it was fab! arghh... to think i was stuck in a jam on my way home bcuz of pple trying to watch e fireworks display, thus parking their cars everywhere, when i should've been watching the fireworks? stupid me... :/ haha! oh and ytd nite, i shameless went down to meet nick while he was at my condo, having a bbq w his families friends... and then i shameless joined the bbq and had their food... :/ felt so paiseh... ah, but they insisted. and the food was really good! never knew bbq could have food tt good.. like restaurant standard... the juiciness retained, with nice smokey taste - not burnt taste... lol! :)

am just listening to some slightly more depressing music and wallowing in my blues... lol... i think its mostly due to the lack of sleep tt i'm like tt? hope i'd be better after a good rest... i really feel so screwed up inside... i really wish someone could make me feel better... :'(

hmmm, time passes so quickly... yuan was just telling cm tt he's gotta do his uk apps quickly, and i commented tt it seemed like just a while ago tt we had set our sights on going overseas. we all did managed to get a place in good overseas unis, but in e end, its me who isn't gonna go. haha, i remember how we planned to meet one hols at Roland Garros or the US Open... looks like i'm not gonna be able to do tt due to my lack of breaks next few years... :P oh wells... most certainly am gonna miss yihan... haha, u've been a great friend these years... its gonna be weird w u missing from the 4 of us... :/ certainly felt a lil nostalgic and xin suan after talking abt some of the stuff tt we did in sch, and e silly jokes we share! haha... :(

hmmm, fri was quite an exciting day for me... albeit a really tiring one... :( slept so late on thurs, but had to crawl out of bed to attend sch on fri... :/ but yeah, it was one boring lecture. i dun like hanry yu... his accent is incomprehensible, and i get so tired just listening to his droning... its like a really powerful lullaby... :x so being irritated with the lecture, i just ponned the next one and went early for rehearsals for jam and hop! :) was kinda glad to meet the other paegent pple... they're such a fun and whacky bunch... nice move away from the dull and drudgery of work... :) after coach luke (big bitch!) had his share of standardisation... much to our dismay cuz we had this really awful action on stage, we practised and practised till we were ok... but it was still bad. i mean, its bad enough tt the stage hardly has space to any movement, and well, it was my first time doing anything of this sort on stage, so yeah... ;)

but really, this whole thing has been a whole new experience... certainly more fun than anything i've done b4. afterall, the last 19 years, i've only taken part in sports and music, never have i done anything on stage like this! i think i should continue to try new stuff... it can be rewarding... :) yup, after the hustle on stage, we were transported to scotts isetan by van and car to have our makeup done.. aha... the girls were on first, so the guys just quickly ate and played pool! haha, man quite a few of them were not bad, but i ain't to shabby tt day either... ;) after tt, was our turn... the lady was damn funny... bitching abt her boss, then tell me my skin's damn dry, chiding me for not looking after it... lol! then she said i had v nice lashes, and blah blah... haha... was like a chit chat session tt didn't take v long. in fact, i didn't even see a difference to my face! :p after zhenru, had her face caked and drawn all over... (she sure took damn long la), we could finally go off! went to this hair place... and the woman was so nice to help me thin my hair, then style it... haha, at first she felt my hair was good enough liao, dun even need to style... lol! ;) the other guys had their hair semi painted in bright interesting colors... cool! the girls... had exploded hair... u gotta see the photos to understand... lol! ;) oh, and sure enough, some of the girls exploded with the hair... they can be so pissy when they dun think their hair looks good... :/ scary man!

so, we headed back to a long wait for our appearance on stage... 2 hours passed quite fast... though we got so nervous towards the time when we had to appear... :/ my partner was like holding me so tight, and telling me if she forgot the line, i had to cover up for her...! lol... and soon enough, the show began... and we were on stage, next thing i knew, me and geraldine were at the mike. and she really forgot her lines, and she just passed me the mike. so i just blurted out what i had to say... and it was actually recieved well enough (for me... haha), and yeah... so i was happy... but wow, zhenru had like an army down, screaming for her, and she was like going, thank u thank u, i love u too... haha, just so natural on stage! impressive man...

after everything was wrapped up... i skipped the DXO party thingy they had, though they were so insistent... i was just too tired. (side note.. got asked to DXO again today for law bash.. i'm too tired and broke to club k? so yeah... unless someone wants to pay my cab fare home... lol!) anw, met up w royston and gary for supper, then sat around in royston's hall... i maintain its too small and i'd feel so clastrophobic there man... :/ haha! and the lack of an luxuries - like tv is not acceptable! :p

i'm just not feeling too happy these days... school's an absolute bore and drag... the lecturers are so boring, plus they drone. so much. endlessly... and i just tune out after a few seconds... and i'm just slping or waiting for the lecture to end... :/ it got so bad tt kae sian, ian n me actually played cards during practical lessons. lol... haiz... i dunno how i'm gonna keep my mind under such conditions. oh, did i mention it appears tt nus is trying to cut down on electrical bills? they dun even on the freaking aircon when we're in lecture la... :((

i think, if not for the pple around... i'd flip real soon.. :/ so i just hope tt i can keep my sanity... and i just found out sth tt made me feel quite bummed... med is apparently having a dance and dinner thingie on the same day as union ball? how shitty is tt..? couldn't the pple organising at least have the sense to put it on different days? gosh... i'm just speechless and v v bummed rite now. can't even find the answers to the questions i gave my tuition kids... sighs.

today's national day... sadly, i'm not really feeling v patriotic... lol... i didn't even watch the event tt gives so many so much worries just preparing for it... trust me, i know pple involved... if it screws up... lol... gd luck! ;)

anw... ytd was my photoshoot, quite tiring. maybe its thanks to how boring the first day in sch was? god, the lecturer is soo boring... i'm so escaping to the back of the lt. :/ anw, the hairdresser did my hair so bad... i swear i've never had hair so stiff and awful b4... :/ lol! at least i hardly had makeup... unlike some who had hideous makeup! lol.. anw, think my photos are gonna be awful cuz i just couldn't smile nicely... once i did, the guy would ask me to shift here and there, till my mouth cramped to a spastic looking shape. eww... :x haha... and my catwalking... dun even go there... dunno how i'm gonna dignify myself on fri... :(

yup... sex n e city has been absolutely delightful... have watched a whole season, and intend to quickly watch more, b4 all e work starts piling up! :( till then... cya guys... :)

haha, its been such a whirlwind few days... so busy and tired... :/ amd with sch starting tmr and the crazy timetable given to us.. i can't say i'm terribly excited... lol! ;)

interesting happening on fri... had clothes fitting on fri for union ball... hurhur. it was at new urban male... and well, kinda expected skimpy outfits, but what i got.. was something totally shocking lol...! it was this tiny, tight fitting singlet, with a long strap-like thing behind... and the shorts is just so short! :/ and my friend like came out of the fitting room and was like covering his thighs.. was so amusing! :p

haha... after tt, we walked down orchard and saw fiona xie! she's quite pretty in real life... :) haha, then saw cass once again! haha... and quite a few of us got stopped by modelling agencies... lunch was amusing... these pple are all from v different backgrounds than what i'm used to... haha. so when we talk, the topics are rather different. quite refreshing! :)

later in the day, i actually went for float making! lol... surprise appearance! ;) sure shocked many pple who just kept suanning me abt how rare my appearance was... :/ in the end, i did nothing but talked to weili, ian, audrey and fish! haha... but i did get to go visit roy at kr hall! his hall is quite nice... and we left for christine's farewell party together on a 1.5h hellride! :( bus took forever la! :/ christine's party had nice food and quite amusing pple... and she sure can open a kbox of her own, in fact i think she got more songs, and they're more updated than kbox! lol... stayed till so late, and felt so sleepy... :/

got woken up so early the next day, and i just thought, since i had already had my beauty slp gone, i might as well just get up and go for rag... which i did! it was quite a bit of fun, have many pix, but yeah, i'm lazy to post! haha... i think the standard is really quite good... :) the costumes and makeup are so elaborate, and the floats themselves are of good standard... but the weather was seriously bad... felt like melting...!

after tt, went law with hs, in her bright pink top, big shades and all! lol... i'm so jealous. she has her own letterbox where teachers dump in notes for her, her timetable is personailised, with her name on it! the library is so new looking and lovely... and her timetable is short on top of all tt! :( oh wells...

had lunch at essential brews after tt... the food was just delectable! :) the place is just great... a pity we couldn't get access to the second storey though! :( we had ribeye steak with rosti... the brown pepper sauce was just so tangy and spicy at the same time... excellent! :) then jasmine crusted cod fish... v delightful! the fish had no unpleasant odors, and the rice, with its jasmine frangrance, just went so well w e fish... :) to finish it off, we had desert! poached pears with french vanilla ice cream, and green tea creme brulee! the green tea creme brulee was just fab... (well, i'm a sucker for creme brulee), haha... it wasn't too sweet thanks to the infusion of the slightly bitter but ever so fragrant green tea... :) yummilicious! haha

after tt was a movie... bad mistake i felt. charlie and the chocolate factory was just not my type of movie... :/ it was like story with no climax at all! it was barely watchable... had to really force myself to even keep my eyes open... :/ so... i wun advise watching it.

yup, am rather sunburnt now... red and all over, thanks to the crazy tennis in e hot sun... wonder how i'm gonna survive e photoshoot tmr... :/

monday - i went shopping... felt like a bimbo cuz i bought a dvd, only tt it was the wrong code and i couldn't play it. no worries, i'm working on getting a multi-code player... ;) haha... watched american beauty... a film i couldn't watch when it came out cuz it was R21, and i was 14. Now, its a great show... truly worthy of all the rave reviews it got. i actually had lotsa thoughts and comments on the movie, but its been a while since i watched it, and i kinda have forgotten some of the things tt i was gonna say. so for the sake of not sounding pretentious and incoherent, i'll pass writing abt it. but, if u r looking for a good piece of black humor, perhaps this is what u should watch. and no, i most certainly hope i do not lead such a pathetic life in the future... ;)

tuesday... now this was an exciting day... got my hair colored again... it didn't quite turn out the shades i chose... but i understand... its never easy with dark hair to get the right colors. hmmm... then the afternoon was the highlight... ;) well... i was asked to participate in the nus union ball.. and i was v apprehensive, seeing tt i'm not excatly the most confident person on stage and all. but after much deliberation and encouragement from my friend who felt tt its an opportunity tt wun come by again, i took the chance.. the first lesson was on how to catwalk... hurhur. it was quite funny because none of us had ever done anything like this b4... and it was like, we were all stiff and awkward. yeah... but i guess it has to improve. the whole schedule for this thing is quite rushed... the ball is at the end of august, and i've got clothes fitting, photoshoot, and my first appearance all within a week from now. haha... well, hope i dun embarrass myself too much... :x haha! n e guy said, try not to be in the sun. i'm like... what?! haha... no way man, sorry... :P

wed... oh, this was also a really great day. ra, col, al and i went out... well, actually, it was ra and i tt needed to get books, al and col just.. tagged along? first stop was yun nam at bras basah where i bought most of my med books. it was comparatively cheaper than nus, and the aunty was really nice and helpful... :) got it done in a jiffy. then went stationary shopping, and i, stupidly just swept a few files i thought looked good off the shelf. 15 each. i paid thru my pocket with tt! :/ haha. alrite.. then the best part came. racket shopping at queensway... :D oh yeah, thank god for ra's car... it made travelling so much easier, and no need to lug e books around! :) and thanks al for helping me w e books.. hee... and at queensway, gary suddenly decided to pop up.. aha. so ra, me and him all bought rackets. n4, n six-one 95, and shark sand respectively... so it was gonna take a while to string all e rackets, so we had to have lunch. so at ikea it was... well, basically, we just chatted and chatted, till e time had passed so quickly away... :D hmmm... we got the rackets, and of course, the first thing to do is to hit e courts! wow... boy did e rackets do our games good... :p gary was smacking balls harder than he had in ages... and they actually went deep for once... ;) ra was quite consistent with his... and i was just playing so much better than i have in ages. i'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping, this is a sign of good things to come... :)

its been such a whirlwind week... :/ and i'm blogging too infrequently... :p

last weeks... things of note - bought a new laptop, got marticulated... ermmm, had loads of gatherings n 2 bday party, and broke my tennis racket... haha...

let's see... i got the fujitsu 7020 which... a fair bit of my friends got too... i'm kinda sad it doesn't come with the glossy screen tt makes anything of the screen so much brighter and well, prettier to look at... ;) but so far, its so light, and i'm loving the dvd RW drive (yes!!), and the cool lil fingerprint reader, which u can use to replace any password sign in screen - its so much easier to scan yr finger rather than to type in a password... :)

oh, then marticulation... tt was one stupid process... *rolleyes* i did sign up for tennis and fencing... hope i can get into tennis... i really really wanna... :/ but, its gonna be so hard... :( well... i'm not sure what's happening in school... its really confusing rite now cuz i dun even know when i'm supposed to attend school?! lol... and yeah, me being lazy has hardly been to sch... gosh...! :p oh, but at the cca fest thingie... as i was walking walking... suddenly this guy pulled me all the way back to the entrance asking me to join some paegent thing... and he was berating the girl for not spotting me.. lol... i'm so apprehensive abt it... but i left my no. like i did for some other stuff... :x (hope i dun regret)

yes... and yes... sat was one crazy day... i woke up early, rushed down to colin's place for tennis! and yes... it was quite fun... then, i was supposed to meet my jc friends for lunch at settler's... and i was late! so i cabbed home, then changed... and cabbed to clarke quay...! and i had the most retarded driver i could ever get... lol! he actually dropped me off in the middle of a dual carriage road, having 5 lanes in either direction. yes, and there was no traffic light. indeed... wth. i told him, u can't drop me here, so he said, i'll drive u further up. and sure enough, 20m down the road, he hinted tt i should get off... so wth, i did cuz he had already stopped the meter so ways back... :/ bah... had such a hard time getting across w/o getting killed... *rolleyes* geez, the brains of some pple?!

anw, settlers was great fun, as we shouted and screamed our way to victory, and utterly embarrassing losses of course... and we all gotta know how scheming and desparate michelle can get... ahh... ;) my voice was so hoarse at the end of it all... and oops, i then realised that i was so late for our primary sch reunion.. so cab... what do ya know? lol... so its my 3rd ride tt day...

reached there - last. haha... and got teased abt wearing a shirt tt looks like a 11b... yes, the irony of it all is tt, i dun have it w me anymore... ;) haha... and being there, i realised just what a bunch of amazing pple i've been w in sch some 9 years ago... at the table... there were 2 non scholars. almost everyone was going overseas on some form of scholarship, and wow, there were 5 psc scholars if i remember right... 2 being considered for presidents... amazing pedigree... think we've our fantastic teachers to thank for tt. i really felt tt they were some of the best i ever had... ok, they were. so fun, refreshing, entertaining, passionate... yes, i loved them all... :) maybe tt's why i've always gone back there even after some many years? hmmm...

after, some mad conversation, and bad mahjong playing... i had to leave cuz cass was cutting her cake somewhere in opera estate... i rushed down in the cab... but somehow, i was too late! lol! but well, guess its the thought and the rushing down tt counts huh? :p hee... had a blast meeting lotsa new pple... royston's new hair style was totally... different! lol... it was really interesting meeting and interacting w pple tt are so different from those i usually hang out w... their brand of humor is so different. and yes, my primary school classmates have their own distinct blend of sarcastic and well, almost arrogant humor... ;) jane's imitation of a filipino accent, cuz they tend to confuse the 'p's and the 'f's... like, "sir, here is the pork" instead of... well, fork... so wrong... :x and then, she tried imitating the singapore accent just to mock this guy... but frankly, and everyone knew it... she couldn't... LOL! mich, "what kinda singaporean are u? u can't even speak sing-lish!" oops... now i know why my chinese sounds weird too.. ;)

yes... and the 5th cab i took tt day... was home from cass' place... arghh.. was soo tired... :/

rite. sunday was my granny's bday... went, and it was ok... same restaurant we go to every year... how boring can tt be? at least i gotta talk to my cousing and all... not missing some of my aunts though... :x yups... so after tt, i headed over to col's place again... and had to play a match against ra without any warmup. did so awful, i just lost it on court, smashing my racket... a few times. majorly hard. and it... broke. :( hur... so there goes another 200 bucks yet again... i'm so sad... :/ hur... at least i had a dinner with the guys after tt, and all those bitching and funny stuff they were doing... it made me feel somwhat better... :) well, on the brightside, i guess i'm getting my pay soon, and i could get a new racket... so, hopefully, its a gd thing afterall... :)
